Privacy Notice
SIPHub processes only the operational and security data needed to run a managed SIP and VoIP platform. This notice is a structured draft and should be completed with your final business identity, lawful basis and governance details.
Data collected
The platform may process names, email addresses, organisation details, subscription and payment references, SIP extension data, login metadata, device information and security or troubleshooting logs.
Use of data
Data is used for authentication, subscription management, extension provisioning, fraud prevention, diagnostics, billing, service assurance and compliance support.
Credential protection
SIP secrets are encrypted in storage and revealed only through authenticated, controlled service flows. Payment pages should store transaction identifiers and status, not complete card or UPI credentials.
Retention
Production retention periods should be explicitly defined for audit logs, subscription records, call-detail metadata, recordings if enabled, and inactive or deleted accounts.
Access control
Administrative access should be role-based and logged. Internal handling of user information should remain limited to authorised support, commercial or platform-administration roles.
User rights
Before launch, add your privacy contact, grievance path, deletion/correction procedure, cross-border processing statement and any rights available under applicable law.
